Women of Diverse Origins is a collective of community groups and individuals who have been organizing annual events since 2001 to mark International Women’s Day in Montréal, Québec. The WDO Basis of Unity can be found at the site: http://wdofdo.wordpress.com
Members of the collective include: The Immigrant Workers’ Centre, South-Asian Women’s Community Centre (SAWCC), Pinay (Filipino women’s organization of Quebec), the Mouvement contre le viol et l’inceste, Tamil Women’s Association, Iranian Women’s Association, Voice of Women for Peace (Québec), Centre for Philippine Concerns, No One is Illegal, Palestinian Human Rights, Centre for Gender Advocacy McGill, Centre des femmes d’ici et d’ailleurs, and others.
